EduCode 2019, March 11–15, is geared for working building safety and code compliance professionals. All sessions are approved through the ICC Preferred Provider Program and cover topics that include architectural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural, fire protection, code enforcement and leadership.

Attached is the draft of the 2019 NYS Supplements including the Energy Code.
Please take a look at the documents and assist us in providing meaningful comments to the DOS staff so that the final version is a useful documents. There has been discussion of embedding the NYS amendments into the “I” codes, creating a NYS Code, the same as was available for the 2010 version of the NYS Codes.

Draft 2019 Uniform Code Amendments Energy Code
NYS OGS Division of Codes & Construction Permitting
Two (2) current openings in Albany, NY include contracted positions for Code Enforcement Officials with focus areas on MEP and Arch/Civil/Structural. Both are full-time positions with a salary range between $38.13-$53.28, depending on experience.
Candidate shall possess a NYS Code Enforcement Official certification or be a licensed architect and/or engineer. Must have extensive knowledge of building codes. A four year degree in architecture, engineering, construction management and/or construction-related fields is desirable.
